6th time going here. NEVER FAILS. I literally dream about this breakfast all year long. I drool thinking about it. Worth the wait, trust me. (If you don't want to hear screaming kids, ask to sit in the fireplace room, you're welcome)

I discovered this place while searching for recommendations on social media, where it was highlighted as one of the best breakfast spots in Gatlinburg--and my experience did not disappoint! Here are a few important tips: 1. Check the waitlist before you go. This spot is extremely popular, and the wait can be long, sometimes up to two hours. Using the waitlist will save you time. 2. Share the famous thick Aretha Frankenstein pancakes. They are massive! If you're with someone, one serving is more than enough to share. I ordered two, my companion also ordered two, and we had plenty left over. 3. Don't skip the cinnamon roll. It's huge, delicious, and absolutely worth trying! One unique detail I loved is that the menu is presented as a newspaper, which adds such a fun and creative touch to the experience. Parking won't be an issue, as there's a large lot directly across from the restaurant. My experience was fantastic; the atmosphere perfectly complements a great breakfast. Without a doubt, this will be my go-to spot whenever I return to Gatlinburg!

Very cute and well decorated breakfast spot in Gatlinburg. We went with a group of 8 and there was no wait. Our waiter was attentive and good came out fast. The country fried steak skillet came with a lot of food with a little bit of everything. The 2 eggs and sausage plate was simple and the potatoes are a must get. The big cinnamon roll was a little dry and cake. However prices were very reasonable and we all left satisfied and full. Definitely worth the visit!

I discovered this breakfast spot on Yelp and decided to give it a try. The wait was nearly two hours, but I can confidently say it was worth it. While waiting, we explored the charming downtown area, which helped pass the time. I highly recommend using their online waitlist feature to save some hassle. The food was fantastic--large portions and absolutely delicious. Our server was outstanding, displaying excellent knowledge and top-notch customer service. The only downside, in my opinion, was the parking situation. It was difficult to find a spot, especially during the busy Christmas holiday season. This is the reason for my 4/5 rating. Overall, this is a solid spot with amazing breakfast options. I highly recommend it!

This is an absolute must for your trip to Gatlinburg. It's an institution and they deliver on what they are known for.....massive pancakes, I've never seen one so thick. Also highly recommend getting a cinnamon roll as you sit down to munch on while you peruse the menu. The cheese omelette was ok but I recommend you get one of the high carb items and don't forget a biscuit! The service is very friendly and the vibe is very friendly fun and old time feel. You'll feel like you have gone back in time. Highly recommended!

I was skeptical of Crockett's because it's right in the middle of Gatlinburg and I assumed it would be an over-hyped tourist trap. Thankfully, the hype is warranted. We had to wait 2 hours to be seated - in this time, we walked all around town, got some coffee, and walked along the Gatlinburg trail on the creek - time well spent! By the time we were seated, we were so hungry - thankfully, Crockett's serves their food faster than you can ever imagine. We waited 2 hours to be seated, but we were done with our meal in ~20 minutes. I got the apple waffle with eggs and sausage - I was looking for something savory and sweet, so this was the perfect combination and it was seriously so good. The apple waffle tasted like a delicious apple pie and the eggs and sausage were so good with it. My husband got the corned beef hash plate, which he also thoroughly enjoyed. Actually a good spot if you're willing to wait!

I totally get the hype now! We were in Gatlinburg and wanted to explore the charming little town. After looking over a few breakfast spots, we decided to give Crockett's a try. We got there on a Friday morning, put our name on the waiting list, and were told there'd be about a 1.5 to 2-hour wait. We couldn't find free parking, and paid $20 bucks to park. Since the area is perfect for strolling, we decided to walk around while we waited. They will text you when you're close, and you can monitor your spot on the list. We stopped by a few bars to try their moonshine, browsed the shops, and before we knew it, our table was ready! The service was incredibly fast. We placed our order, and within about 15 minutes, our food was already at the table. We had pancakes, biscuits and gravy, omelets, and country fried steak. In hindsight, we probably should've checked what each dish came with because we ended up with way more food than we could eat. Everything was hot, fresh, and delicious. If you're in the area, definitely make sure to stop by this spot!

Wait was just under 2hrs, but boy was it worth it!!! Very rustic interior which was perfect for the location. Staff super friendly and nice. With the wait they take your number so you can shop around the area. Food arrives super fast, I was amazed at how fast the food arrived. This was the most food I have eaten in a sitting in a long time, it was just that good I didn't want to stop. The griddle cakes were to die for and the cinnamon roll amazing.
